The Cheese Takes Over

Before starting cheese production in 2006, the farmers at Branched Oak Farm had a flock of laying hens, raised pastured poultry, and tended a herd of grass-fed beef cows. After adding two dairy cows to the line up in 2003, the other ventures began to fade away and the focus became solely on dairy production and processing.
